Hon. Abdul Rauf Tubazu Donates to “OLDIES” Football Team in Ayawaso Central

As part of his unwavering commitment to grassroots development and youth empowerment, the Honourable Member of Parliament for Ayawaso Central, Hon. Abdul Rauf Tubazu, has extended a generous donation to the community's vibrant football team, the “OLDIES.”

Representing the MP at the presentation ceremony was his Youth Organizer, Mr. Abdallah Azorka, who delivered the items on his behalf. The donation included two sets of footballs, training vests, and an undisclosed sum of money to support the team’s preparations and participation in an ongoing community football league.
The “OLDIES” team, known for their passion and sportsmanship, is currently competing in a hotly contested local tournament and remains a symbol of unity and talent within Ayawaso Central. The players and coaching staff received the donation with gratitude and praised the MP’s continued efforts to promote sporting excellence.
In a statement after the donation, Mr. Azorka said:
“Hon. Tubazu is deeply committed to helping young people rise through sports and skills development. This donation is a reflection of that belief. He knows football isn’t just a game, it’s a tool for transformation.”
